We could have table tents on the tables in the dining halls. Would be very cool.

Table Tent Policy

To ensure that the table tents in the Residential Dining areas do not become cluttered, the following policy will apply to the placement of all table tents in the Resident Dining Halls. For complete coverage you will need 300 table tents.
  1. Any campus organization may reserve table tent space, maximum once per quarter. Dining Services will begin taking reservations on the first business day in September for fall quarter, and starting week seven of each previous quarter for winter and spring quarters. For reservations, please call Dining Services, 360-650-2970.
  2. University Dining Services will take two reservations per week, one having Residence Life priority (held until two weeks prior to reservation date), and one for authorized campus community on a reservation basis.
  3. When reserving table tent space the specific organization name must be given, not an umbrella name.
  4. Table tent content, size, and design must be approved by the Dining Service Office in advance for all dining halls. This approval should be made at Edens Hall, Suite 109, prior to printing. The table tent sponsor will be required to present the signed approval form to the dining hall checker, to be allowed access to the dining halls for table tent placement.
  5. The tent sponsor may place the tent on the table beginning at 7:30am on the Monday of the reserved week. They cannot be distributed during peak meal times. Peak meal times are considered to be from 10 minutes before the hour through 20 minutes after the hour.
  6. The maximum duration for a table tent shall be seven (7) days, Mon.-Sun. The reserved week dates must be clearly visible along the bottom of each table tent (i.e. 9/22 – 9/28). Table tents without visible reserved week dates will be removed by Dining Service staff.
  7. The message and content of the table tent is limited to on-campus activities sponsored by campus organizations, and may not contain messages of an individual nature (such as political advertising).
  8. The maximum size is 11 inches wide by 4 1/4 inches high, rolled (or folded) with ends attached lengthwise into a cylinder (or triangle) approximately 3 to 3 1/2 inches in diameter and 4 1/4 inches high.
  9. Table tents that become worn, defaced or otherwise unattractive will be removed by the Dining Service staff. Replacement of such tents is the responsibility of the sponsor.
If you have additional questions, please call University Dining Services' Main Office at 360.650.2970.
